Before They Were Stars: Son of Deborah and Daniel Lautner, Taylor Lautner stumbled into an acting career while pursuing competitive martial arts. While at a martial arts camp at UCLA, Lautner was “discovered” by a coach, who suggested he try acting. At age 11, he got an agent and flew to Los Angeles for auditions. A year later, his whole family made the move west.

Where Are They Now: Following various guest spots on television shows, Lautner was cast in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and the title role in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. But Lautner’s most famous role to date is that of Jacob in the Twilight series. Lautner also recently starred in the action film Abduction. Check out a fan site here.
