Multitalented and subversively funny, Betty White has captivated audiences since she had her own radio show in the 1940s. Seven decades later, White continues to woo us with her soft-spoken bawdiness and frank wit. Care for a stroll down memory lane? Walk this way…

SNAKKLE FLASHBACK 2: The ’70s

White won one of her many Emmys playing the unbelievably naive but lovable Rose Nylund on NBC’s The Golden Girls. Check out this classic scene where Rose goes condom shopping with gal pals Blanche and Dorothy.

SNAKKLE FLASHBACK 4: Super Sunday 2010

SNAKKLE FLASHBACK 5: Live, From New York… 2010

Today
After snagging her seventh Emmy for her Saturday Night Live appearance, Betty will star in the second season of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland and just published her fifth book, If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won’t). She also just signed on to host Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, an NBC reality show based on the hit Belgian hidden-camera comedy Benidorm Bastards. Think of Punk’d, but instead of starring young whippersnappers, the senior citizens pull the pranks.

White has attributed her brilliant career to “the blessing of good health” and “sheer, blind luck.” Bullfeathers, my dear. Luck has nothing to do with it.
