Where Are They Now?
Snakkle Celebrates The 27th Anniversary Of Hit Comedy Good Morning, Vietnam And The Funnymen Who Busted Our Guts—Where Are They Now?
Everyone thinks they’re a comedian. Or at least behind the ranks in Saigon, they do. Adrian Cronauer is flown in from the Isle of Crete, to deliver the news and provide the much-needed morale boost for the American troops. But there’s a war at the radio station when Adrian’s gut-busting, easily delivered quips fail to make some of his superiors laugh. Things get political when Adrian learns hard lessons about whose side he’s really on during the Vietnam War. It’s been 27 years since this bunch of wisecracks teamed up for Good Morning, Vietnam, Snakkle finds out where they are now! By Brittany Carson

Bruno Kirby—2006
Perhaps best remembered as Pete Clemenza in The Godfather Part II, Bruno Kirby’s comedic performance in Good Morning Vietnam made him a shoo in for the role as Jess in When Harry Met Sally… (1989), best friend to Harry Burns played by comedian Billy Crystal. He and Crystal teamed up again in 1991 for the cult classic City Slickers. In 2003, Kirby married the actress Lynn Sellers, but sadly passed away in 2006 due to Leukemia-related illness.

While I appreciate Snakkle bringing this article to life, as I loved Good Morning, Vietnam, what I think is utterly ridiculous is that when you click to see the next cast member, the same video ad plays. On every single “Next” click, the same damn video plays. And it’s huge, sitting on top of the entire article. That alone will ensure I never come back to Snakkle.
