Quack Attack!: The Mighty Ducks: Where Are They Now?

It turns out the Hawks had a ringer, and his name was Adam Banks (played by Vincent Larusso). Banks actually lived within the Ducks' district, so he is forced to switch teams. He is the best player on the team, but he isn't exactly welcomed with open arms. But eventually he proves his worth and quacks as well as the best of them.

Vincent Larusso skated in all three Ducks movies, before heading to college at Boston University. He graduated from the school of management and today continues acting in Los Angeles. He had a part in Superhero Movie and on the series Dollhouse.

Shaun Weiss starred in all three Ducks movies and has appeared in more than 30 commercials. He's probably best known for his role as Sean on Freaks and Geeks.

Marguerite Moreau starred in all three Ducks movies but is probably better known these days for her role in Wet Hot American Summer. She has most recently been seen in recurring roles on Shameless,Parenthood and Grey's Anatomy.

Wouldn't you know it? Gordon Bombay's crazy-competitive and awesomely successful former coach is still around and still churning out hockey champions. The Hawks are the Ducks' main competitor for the championship, and Coach Jack Reilly will stop at nothing to beat Bombay, even if it means cheating.

Lane Smith, 1994

After The Mighty Ducks wrapped, Lane Smith went on to star in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman for four seasons as the gruff editor-in-chief of The Daily Planet, Perry White. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 69 from Lou Gehrig's disease.

Hans (Joss Ackland) was Gordon Bombay's former mentor and moral compass. He comes to watch the Ducks get destroyed in their first game and encourages Gordon to remember his childhood joy in the game.

The Mighty Ducks aside, Joss Ackland is actually a quite accomplished English actor of stage and screen. He has appeared in more than 100 films and returned for the third Ducks movie. But his biggest regret comes from an earlier film: He says he wishes he never starred in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Fair enough.

Joshua Jackson is Charlie Conway, the best player on the team. Does he remind Gordon of a young version of himself? He sure does. Does the final game come down to a penalty shot, the one that young Gordon couldn't make himself? It sure does. Does redemption taste good? It sure does.

The most well-known of the Ducks today, Joshua Jackson skated his way through all three films and went on to star as Pacey on Dawson’s Creek, which won him three Teen Choice awards. He has starred in a number of other movies, including Cruel Intentions, The Skulls, and Bobby, and he even spoofed himself with a cameo (as himself) in Ocean’s Eleven. He starred in Fringe. Next up, he'll be starring in Showtime's The Affair.

Emilio Estevez plays Gordon Bombay, an attorney who falls on some bad luck when he gets a DUI. The judge, naturally, sentences him to community service: coaching a Peewee hockey team… uh, working with kids. Good work, your honor. See, Bombay was a former hockey star who messed up a penalty shot, which cost his team the championship, and clearly sent him into a downward shame spiral. Too bad the kids he's coaching are terrible and have no chance of helping him reclaim his former glory… or do they?

Emilio Estevez, 2012

The Mighty Ducks was Emilio Estevez’s first real post-Brat Pack success, and he went on to star in both of the sequels. These days, besides enjoying his status as the non-insane brother in his family, he seems to be more comfortable behind the camera. He wrote and directed the 2006 movie Bobby, which was nominated for Best Film at the Golden Globes, and in 2011 he directed his dad, Martin Sheen, in The Way. He's since lent his voice to several animated projects.

Fulton Reed, played by Elden Henson, is a new recruit to the Ducks thanks to his powerful snap shot. He may be big and dumb, but he won't let anyone mess with his team.

Elden Henson starred in all three Ducks movies and has worked steadily since, with roles in movies like Under the Tuscan Sun, The Butterfly Effect, Lords of Dogtown, and Deja Vu and on television series like ER, Private Practice, Psych, and Grey’s Anatomy. He'll next be seen in the final two The Hunger Games: Mockingjay films as well as in Netflix's upcoming original series Daredevil.

Brandon Hall plays Jesse Hall, the loudmouthed Ducks forward.

Brandon Adams starred in the first two Mighty Ducks movies and then went on to guest on shows like Boy Meets World, Moesha, and Sister, Sister. He had a leading role in the independent film MacArthur Park and has tried out rapping under the name B. Lee.

Aaron Schwartz plays Dave Karp, the lovable chubby prankster of the Ducks.

After he played for the Ducks, Aaron Schwartz did several episodes of The Adventures of Pete & Pete and had the lead role in a Disney movie about fat camp called Heavy Weights. Today, he’s slimmed down and can be seen each week on the Upper East Side as Vanya the doorman on Gossip Girl. He has since been seen on Elementary and The Originals.
