Shelley Long Today
After leaving Cheers, Long went on to star as Carol Brady in three Brady Bunch parody movies. She made guest appearances on series including Murphy Brown and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch before moving primarily into TV movies like Vanished Without a Trace. Recently she’s appeared on Modern Family; next up is the movie Lumpy, costarring Justin Long and Tyler Labine.

I may have met Shelly with two friends and dogs at the dog park in Kentucky. I want to apologize if I seemed like i wasnt sure who she was. I just didnt want to be one of those people who started screaming, etc when they meet a star. I will say that I felt an overwhelming illiminating presence of greatness from this person and was pleasantly surprised at the etiquette and kindness shown to me. RT
