Famous Musicians Who Became Young, Hip Moms
It seems like there have been a bunch of Hollywood A-listers who thought, ‘Hey, being a young mom would be super cool!’ Snakkle wanted to look back at other successful musicians who were able to balance their careers with becoming young mothers. From Britney Spears (24 when her first son was born) to Hilary Duff (only 25), check out these young Hollywood music star moms. By Erin FoxCharlotte Church’s angelic and mature-beyond-her-years vocal talent made her very famous at a very young age. Her debut album Voice of an Angel was released when she was only 12 years old and led to a plethora of TV guest appearances, including Oprah. She kept the hits coming with albums like Charlotte Church (1999), Dream a Dream (2000), and Enchantment (2001), to name a few. In 2005, Church started dating rugby player Gavin Henson and, after much media speculation, announced she was pregnant with his child in 2006. She gave birth to baby Ruby in 2007, and the couple had a son, Dexter, in January 2009. The couple has since split, and Church released several EPs with her most recent FOUR in March 2014. We’re hoping for an awesome bigger Charlotte Church comeback soon (think Britney, girl!).
