HOT GALLERY: Watch Them Go for the Mirror-Ball Trophy Again! Dancing with the Stars All-Stars Then and Now
For the past 14 seasons, we’ve watched them shake and sashay their sequins around the dance floor. Now, 13 past contestants—including six previous winners, two Olympic champions, two boy-banders, and a football legend—are back to compete once again for the mirror-ball trophy. Here are some of our favorites; who do you think will win Dancing with the Stars: All Stars (premiering Monday, September 24, at 8 p.m. ET)? By Nina Hämmerling SmithApolo Anton Ohno, a two-time Olympic gold medalist (he has eight medals altogether), is also a champ of another kind: In 2007 he won season 4 of Dancing with the Stars, a year after becoming an American favorite at the Turin Olympics. He’s also the author of the best-selling inspirational and motivational memoir Zero Regrets: Be Greater Than Yesterday. Last time Ohno was on the show, he was paired with Julianne Hough—who has gone on to focus her attention on singing and acting (she starred in Footloose and Rock of Ages)—and the two had a fun, youthful chemistry that took them all the way to the end. This time his partner is Karina Smirnoff. The speed skater and the firecracker pro should make for an explosive pair.
