In his memoir My Life, Clinton described his younger self as a “fat band boy” who got mocked for his unfashionable taste in clothes and was even punched by a fellow classmate for his questionable couture. Clinton, however, did not fight back or back down from his attacker. “I just stood my ground and stared at him.… I had learned that I could take a hit and that there’s more than one way to stand against aggression.” (And they say you can’t win wars with fashion.)
