Step Up Is Now on Blu-ray DVD!
The hit 2006 movie Step Up arrived on Blu-ray DVD on July 3 and not only offers incredible Blu-ray definition of breakout star Channing Tatum but a variety of fun special features as well. By Erin FoxThe Blu-ray hi-def technology in this Step Up DVD (released on July 3, 2012) is so fantastic, you can feel Channing Tatum sweat on you. And, I think we can all agree, if anyone is gonna sweat on you, it best be mega-hottie Channing Tatum.
Before Tatum made us weak in the knees in The Vow, made us crack up in 21 Jump Street, and made us drool in Magic Mike, Channing made us want to get up off the couch and dance in Step Up.
You know the story: A boy named Tyler (Tatum) from the wrong side of the tracks (and with an amazing talent for street dance) vandalizes a Maryland school for the arts and is sentenced to community service to clean up his mess. There, he meets snooty ballerina Nina (Jenna Dewan-Tatum), who just happens to need a kick-ass partner for her senior showcase. Of course, sparks fly and the two dance their way into each other’s hearts.
Besides the movie itself, the DVD is packed with awesome special features, including deleted scenes, bloopers, featurettes like “Making the Moves for Step Up,” and music videos like Chris Brown’s “Say Goodbye,” as well as audio commentary with Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and director/choreographer Anne Fletcher.
So go ahead and treat yourself! Buy the DVD and curl up with some girlfriends and a nice bottle of vino to watch the original Step Up!
