When Twin Peaks premiered in 1990, understandably, no one knew what to make of the bizarre and terrifying events and people surrounding the death of Laura Palmer in the sleepy Washington town. Today, the television show has both a cult and critical following and as of this week will be returning to Showtime in 2016, just in time for the 25th anniversary.
