Based on the best-selling book by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games rocked the globe when the film came out in March. It introduced moviegoers to the twisted futuristic world of Panem and its brutal, annual Hunger Games, where children are randomly selected to battle to the death on camera. Actress Jennifer Lawrence embodied the heroine of Katniss Everdeen perfectly, and a new mega film franchise was born. The movie also introduced a cast of fresh faces to the world, including Willow Shields (Primrose Everdeen) and Amandla Stenberg (Rue), who we talked to about the August 18 DVD release of The Hunger Games.
