1999 was THE year for teen movies: American Pie, She’s All That, 10 Things I Hate About You, Cruel Intentions, Varsity Blues, Jawbreaker and Dick were just a few of the releases. Now, they are all celebrating their 15th anniversaries. We’ve gone back to pick some of our favorite teen duos from the era. Trust us, it wasn’t easy.

When it comes to Thanksgiving films, the pickings are a bit slim. (It’s not the veritable feast you get at Christmas.) Beyond classics like Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Hannah and Her Sisters, there’s not a whole lot to choose from. (Good luck trying to gather the family around the TV for a screening of that heartwarming Thanksgiving favorite The Ice Storm.) Ideally you want something funny and heartwarming that’ll get you through that tryptophan-induced food coma. That’s why the Jodie Foster directed Home for the Holidays just might be the perfect Thanksgiving movie.

With a healthy mix of holiday humor and warmth, Home for the Holidays captures all of the binge eating and family dysfunction that comes with Turkey Day. But what keeps it in rotation on our Thanksgiving viewing list is its stellar cast of veteran and up-and-coming stars. Chances are you’ve probably forgotten some of the now big names that gathered around the dinner table for a memorable Thanksgiving dinner filled with laughs and tears. After 10 years, the School of Rock cast got together in Austin, Texas for a special reunion. Snakkle hosted a private reception for the talented cast and captured some incredible moments.

Has it really been over 10 years since we’ve been schooled….at the School of Rock that is? And just what have Mr. Schneebly’s students been up to since then? Snakkle spent the day with the entire cast for a special 10 year anniversary reunion in Austin, Texas, that included director Richard Linklater, star Jack Black and the break-out star of the film Miranda Cosgrove to find out where ALL the kids of School of Rock are today! Less Than Zero, the ‘80s film adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel by the same name, starred “Brat Pack” hit makers: Andrew McCarthy, Robert Downey Jr. and Jami Gertz. Andrew McCarthy’s character, Clay, comes home for Christmas break during his first year of college to find both his best friend (Downey Jr.) and high school girlfriend (Gertz) addicted to drugs and in a confusing love triangle. Set against the cocaine-ridden, party hard backdrop of LA’s wealthy offspring, the film was a grim depiction of LA’s desperate youth. Snakkle looks back on their noteworthy roles and finds out where they are now!

The trend in Hollywood now is to get incredibly famous, THEN secure a lucrative contract modeling underwear to make yourself even MORE famous by appearing on huge billboards in your skivvies. But, in the past, many of today’s A-list stars actually used skimpy shoots to get noticed and break into Hollywood to start their amazing acting careers. We take a look at who has stripped down for various underwear shoots over the years.
