That’s when Dave, Paul, and the World’s Most Dangerous Band moved to CBS for the Late Show with David Letterman. Some 30 years later, we’re celebrating Dave’s dominance over late night, now besting The Tonight Show and Jay Leno’s chin in the ratings.
