The British comedian first burst onto the pop culture scene in the late ’90s as the character of Ali G, a dumb-as-rocks hip-hop chat show host who caught celebs in hilariously uncomfortable interviews. A huge success, Sacha Baron Cohen then used his chameleon-like talents to morph into a series of new characters, including Borat and Brüno, to make mockumentary films provoking average people and celebrities with his outrageous behavior and opinions.
