After a brief respite, Sutherland is back on TV, headlining the new Fox drama Touch. Snakkle talks to Kiefer about Touch and looks back at some of his career touchstones… By Tara Bennett
Kiefer Sutherland’s First U.S. Film Role in Max Dugan Returns (1983)
After landing his first major role in the Canadian movie The Bay Boy, Kiefer scored a small role in his first Hollywood production as Bill in Max Dugan Returns with Marsha Mason, Jason Robards, and his dad, Donald Sutherland.
Speaking of whom, Kiefer says his dad might be persuaded to reunite with him on his new series, Touch. “Working on episodes five and six now but I have conveyed to [creator] Tim (Kring) that my father is someone I would love to work with. We don’t have a script or a story for that, but it certainly is open.”
