Snakkle Celebrates The 20-Year Anniversary Of Scent Of A Woman!
“The day we stop lookin', Charlie, is the day we die.“ Wise words from a blind man, a blind, alcoholic colonel with a death wish to be exact! Charlie Simms was just looking to make an extra buck over the holiday break and his job looking out for Frank Slade probably should have paid more. It’s been 20 years since the 1992 film was nominated for Best Picture, Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor at the Academy Awards. Snakkle finds out what the talented cast is up to now. Al Pacino—Now
Trained in method acting, the stand out star of iconic films The Godfather (1972) and Scarface (1983), Al Pacino scored two Academy Award nominations in 1993: one for his lead in Scent of a Woman (for which he won the Oscar for Best Actor) and another for his supporting role Glengarry Glen Ross. Since then, Pacino hasn’t been giving anyone any cement shoes; instead, he returned to the stage in 2010 as Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. While he’s enjoyed a number of relationships with costars and has three children from previous relationships, this former on-screen mobster and military man has never tied the knot.
