The Monkees in the ’60s
The Monkees started out as a fictional band, assembled simply for a television show of the same name in 1965, but the sensation of Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, Michael Nesmith, and Davy Jones caught on bigger than the show ever intended. Sure, they were talented, but that period hair didn’t hurt their cause!
