Chris Noth as Mr. Big (aka John James Preston) in Sex and the City

Mr. Big (whose name isn't revealed until the end of the show) is Carrie's one... er, final one. The two can't seem to stop running into each other, let alone stay away from each other. Years of on-and-off and on again ups and downs kept Carrie heartsick and holding a "big" torch for her smooth-talking ex. After long-distance (or from the limo) phone calls, affairs and awkward run-ins, Mr. Big finally put a ring on it.

After the series ended, Chris Noth landed a major role in the TV series Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Detective Mike Logan.
