Lana Del Rey Releases Ultraviolence–See Her as Lizzy Grant
By Kerensa CadenasLana Del Rey’s latest album Ultraviolence hits stores today and it’s packed to the brim with Lana’s signature stoned vocals and West Coast cool vibes tinged with an underbelly of suburban discontent.
Before Lana was the queen of cool, she was Elizabeth Grant–a New York bred entrepreneur’s daughter who attended boarding school in Connecticut to deal with her alcohol problem. Her early career, under the name Lizzy Grant, was fraught with record contract problems and distribution issues. She decided to begin performing under Lana Del Rey in 2010 and adopting a new persona.
Judging from the Elizabeth Grant picture of Del Rey–Lana was always in there.
